The choice of a holiday destination in autumn depends on the number of co-travellers in a group and on their preferences. For example, people prefer such warm countries as Egypt, Turkey and the UAE for family holidays. These countries are most suitable for comfortable holidays with children. According to Milana Barseghyan, the founder of ‘Milana Tour’ travel company, the choice of a place for a holiday with children directly depends on the number of hours of flight.
"Tourists prefer to choose those countries that are the closest to Russia and can be easily reached. In addition, tourists also take into account the availability of the ‘all-inclusive’ option, convenient location of the hotel with its own beach and pool, and guided tours to health and entertainment centres. These four factors were decisive in choosing the best location for travelling with the family in autumn," says Milana Barseghyan.
For a romantic holiday, the favourite destinations for holidaymakers from the Krasnodar region are the Maldives, Bali and Indonesia. One can flu there from Moscow, but tours are actively booked through Kuban travel agencies. The choice of these countries is determined by the beauty and uniqueness of nature, and distinctive types of programmes for active rest. In general, the duration of a trip is 10-14 nights. As Milana Barseghyan noted, both young and senior travellers like to go to Asian countries - Thailand, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Sri Lanka.
Georgia, Abkhazia and Türkiye are actively chosen for groups and entertainment holidays. These countries please with budget prices, natural beauty, a combination of mountains and sea, and the proximity to Sochi with a convenient transit there.
Today Kuban residents can fly abroad only from Sochi, the airports of other cities in the region are closed. The locations available from Sochi are, first of all, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, UAE, Egypt, Uzbekistan, Thailand, and Türkiye. Also, from Sochi to Türkiye it is possible to go by cruise liner, and to Abkhazia by train. The top three cheapest countries available from Sochi are Georgia, Türkiye and Armenia. The top five is closed by Azerbaijan and the UAE.
Russian citizens can stay in Abkhazia up to 90 days, in Armenia up to 180 days, and in Georgia up to a year.
In Türkiye, the weather allows to visit historical sights (for example, the ancient cities of Ephesus and Troy). For those who appreciate resort holidays with shopping and entertainment: cities such as Antalya and Bodrum offer good opportunities for relaxing holidays, as well as evening walks and shopping.
