Krasnodar, 25 October – Yug Times. About a dozen Kuban hotels are participating in projects aimed at increasing labour productivity. 

Since the beginning of this year, hotels and resorts with revenue of 180 million roubles or more have been given the opportunity to participate in the national project ‘Labour Productivity’. 

“We are noticing an increase in the tourist flow. Last summer, we achieved record, historical values. With the growing demand, we need to ensure equal supply. And here it is important to ensure the effective use of the tourist infrastructure,” said Deputy Minister of Economic Development Murat Kerefov. 

An industry competence centre has been set up in the Krasnodar region to develop comprehensive solutions to improve productivity and identify administrative barriers. One more such centre is being formed within the state corporation ‘Kavkaz.RF’. 

Aleksei Yurtaev, regional Minister of Economy, was quoted as saying that the main task of the regional competence centre will be to create standards for all operational procedures in the hospitality sector that can be improved through lean technologies.
