Krasnodar, 26 September – Yug Times. More than 190 trams, trolleybuses and buses have been purchased in the Krasnodar Region since the beginning of 2024.

 Last week, ten new trams began service in Krasnodar. These are single-section cars purchased this year under the national project, their capacity is up to 120 passengers.

 Now in the Western Tram Depot another ten trams are being prepared for operation. In total, the Kuban capital received 20 trams from Ust-Katav, Chelyabinsk oblast. By the end of the year, another batch of 20 new cars will arrive at Krasnodar. In addition, by the end of 2026, 90 one-section and 10 three-section trams will be delivered to the regional centre under the concession agreement. Other public transport in the Kuban cities is also undergoing renewal. Since the beginning of the year, 16 electric buses manufactured in Belarus, 15 autonomous trolleybuses and 141 CNG buses have been purchased by the region. The buses operate on the lines in Sochi (121 vehicles), Gelendzhik and Novorossiysk (ten vehicles each).
