Krasnodar, 20 December – Yug Times. Krasnodar has reportedly played host to the traditional Christmas Summit – the main business event of the Russian Guild of Managers and Developers (RGMD).
The business part of the agenda of the Summit began with a plenary session, moderated by Yelena Bodrova, RGMD Executive Director. “Our today’s task is to discuss main industrial trends in Krasnodar,” she said. “The situation is not simple – the city finds itself in turbulence zone because of the situation with the general layout plan at the background of continuing inflow of population.”
Yelena Shuvalova, founder and coordinator of the Help the City public movement, stated that the situation in the city is not favourable to optimism.
“Presently, Krasnodar is growing but not developing,” she said. “A development means movement to a more comfortable life level, but our native townsfolk would hardly say that that’s what’s happening in the city.”
In his speech at the Christmas Summit, Semrén & Månsson Business Development Director in Russia Andrey Petrov analysed such important contemporary trend as building up of a comfortable environment. He spoke of the global experience in this sphere and gave examples of development of public spaces in contemporary Russia.
On the whole, the Christmas Summit in Krasnodar proved its status as an efficient and useful tool to get most up-to-date information about market development trends.
