Krasnodar, 22 November – Yug Times. Last week, Krasnodar played host to a conference for public representatives of the Kuban regional business ombudsman Igor Yakimchik in the municipalities, and representatives of small businesses.
The participants of the conference stated that over the period of work of the regional institution of business ombudsman, an efficient businessmen rights movement had been formed in the Krasnodar region.
Mr. Yakimchik raised the issue of the status of self-employed workers.
“We were doing our best to have as many people been awarded the status of self-employed workers as possible – there will be about 35 categories [of self-employed workers in Russia],” he announced. “They will be taxed at the rate of 6% when working with legal entities and 4% when working with physical persons, provided that their yearly turnover does not exceed 2.4 million roubles. The Federal Tax Service has backed our initiative.”
