Krasnodar, 1 November – Yug Times. The Krasnodar Chamber of Commerce and Industry has reportedly hosted a conference “Time for New Strategies 2018”.
The conference was organized by The Yug Times weekly and supported by the regional Civic Chamber, Agency for Investments and International Cooperation, and the European Business Association, and sponsored by Centre Invest Bank (strategic partner), Philip Morris Kuban (platinum partner) and the regional branch of the Russian Union of Entrepreneurs and Industrialists.
The participants discussed the 2030 Strategy for Krasnodar. The guests raised many questions, which was quite natural, for at least 4,000 experts had been working on its development meant for dozens of thousands of local inhabitants. The discussion went on in an atmosphere of fruitful debates between the business circles, the power and the society, aimed at further fulfillment of strategies of socio-economic development of the Kuban region.
“It is important that we are holding this conference after the 2030 Strategy has become approved on the federal level,” Lubov Popova, Chair of the regional Civic Chamber, stated. “Now the project has been presented to the regional Legislative Assembly, and it will be considered during the next session. It is good that the desires of the public activists as regards the directions of strategic development of the Krasnodar region have been taken into notice.”
The guests of the conference asked experts many questions, discussed the situation in the Kuban economy, and came to a conclusion that the fulfillment of the program has already begun, for the 2030 Strategy itself is a kind of action plan.
