Krasnodar, 27 September – Yug Times. Last week, Kuban Governor Veniamin Kondratiev visited the Labinsk district and became convinced of its strong points and areas for development.
“The investment growth index is nearly 17% to the last year’s level,” Mr. Kondratiev said, commenting on the economic situation in the area. “Currently, four large-scale investment projects to the total value of 745 million roubles are being fulfilled in the district. As a result, 105 new jobs will appear there. The agricultural sector is also showing positive dynamics.”
Nonetheless, a number of issues remain unsettled in the sphere of housing and communal services. The local people complain about water supply outage and lack of gas supply. There are cases when the gas main has been laid to the settlement but its inhabitants keep on waiting for the gas to be connected to their homes.
