Krasnodar, 14 September – Yug Times. The Yug Times continues its publications about the Triumph contest.
CLAAS built a factory in Krasnodar fifteen years ago. Merely an assembling plant of grain combine harvesters then, now it has turned into a full-cycle production facility of agricultural machinery. Owing to advanced technologies and newest production management techniques, the factory has for many years been acknowledged one of the biggest and most successful agricultural facilities in Europe. The factory owes much of its success to its longstanding Director General, Ralf Bendisch, who has been managing CLAAS’ representation in Krasnodar since 2003, when the company decided to launch a new factory in the city.
For fifteen years, Dr. Bendisch has lived in two countries: every month, he flies to Germany to visit his family. Over this time, Krasnodar has become his second homelalnd.
“Krasnodar is my favourite city,” he keeps saying. Recently he was awarded a medal
“For Outstanding Contribution in Development of Kuban”. The medal was presented by Governor Veniamin Kondratiev.
“For me, it was a full surprise, because until the last moment I had not known what award I was going to be given,” Dr. Bendisch says. “It was a big honour for me to be given an award granted to outstanding residents of the Krasnodar region.”
