Krasnodar, 13 September – Yug Times. During an inspection of Krasnodar last week, Kuban Governor Veniamin Kondratiev ordered that unauthorised installations of mobile phone towers in the region should be excluded.
Together with Krasnodar Mayor Yevgeni Pervyshov, Mr. Kondratiev called upon the site in Pashkovsky neighbourhood, where a 28-metre high cellular communications tower had been installed without permits. Mr. Pervyshov explained that initially the site had been assigned for individual dwelling construction. The city authorities already took legal action against the site owners demanding to pull down the tower. “Towers are being installed chaotically in the city,” Mr. Kondratiev stated. “Such problems must not exist in our region. The authorities should be held responsible for townplanning activities as well as for the safety of the inhabitants. Such towers may be installed only according to standard placement norms.”
