Krasnodar, 8 August – Yug Times. Last week, Novorossiysk played host to a remarkable event: the leaders of five municipalities located along the Black and Azov seacoasts, signed a cooperation agreement.
The work aimed at the fulfilment of the Strategy for socio-economic development of the Krasnodar region for the period until 2030, is moving into a practical plane. Anapa, Temriuk, Gelendzhik and Novorossiysk have agreed to cooperate for the purpose of formation of the Black Sea Economic Zone and joint achievement of the goals set by the regional authorities. According to the draft Strategy, 7 economic zones have opened in the Krasnodar region. Each of them unites several neighbouring municipalities. Yuri Poliakov, Anapa Mayor:
“The signing of the cooperation agreement is a very important moment for the development of our resort areas. When one works separately, lots of problems are appearing. Together, it will be much easier to work on the social and economic development of our municipalities.”
