Krasnodar, 1 August – Yug Times. Anna Zavgorodniaya, head of the Krasnodar regional public special needs chil-dren charity organisation With All Our Hearts, has become a real godmother-fairy for hundreds of little kids and teenagers from the Gulkevichi district.
Upon leaving high school, Anna decided to qualify as a medical gymnastics in-structor, to be able to take part in the rehabilitation of children with special needs and disabilities. “With my friends, I would often help orphanages, low-income families and fami-lies with children with special needs: we brought them different things, creativity kits, and arranged festivals for them. I knew the problems peculiar children were facing - they can’t even go for a walk in a park, because there are no special swings or slides there.” So Anna initiated the construction of the first playground for children with disa-bilities in Gulkevichi, equipped with swings with additional handles and special ramps so that a wheelchaired kid could enter it without problems.
Anna’s next significant project was the Imaginarium Bus, which was a creative laboratory with all equipment necessary for master classes in such unusual sub-jects as ordonnance, marbling, land art, point painting, etc. The bus plies so as to cover even the remotest towns and villages of the Gulkevichi district.
At the all-Russia youth forum Taurida, the Imaginarium caused a sensation. Russian President Vladimir Putin also paid attention to the volunteers’ project from Gulkevichi. He personally examined the unusual bus and talked to Anna.
