Krasnodar, 31 July – Yug Times. The Yug Times has collected the stories of young businessmen that managed to turn their hobby into lifework.
Irina Streltsova: make yourself beautiful. Currently she is a leading stylist, visagiste and image-maker. Looking at this slender and beautiful young woman, it is hard to imagine that she was in the army for ten years where she served as chief of a radio centre. She completely changed her life - Irina retired and went to a school of visagistes and hair designers. At first she would do makeups for the weddings and other solemnities, and later she began to teach in a beauty school. Soon she became an invited lecturer.
Boris Avetisyan: it’s time to learn to speak. Upon graduating from the Faculty of Economics, business coach Boris Avetisyan had for many years been working as an economist for a construction company, and as a university teacher at the weekends. It was the economic crisis that helped him make the final choice. The company he worked for closed, and he decided to start as an entrepreneur. At first, he lectured in business clubs and studied at the same time. Then, when he felt he had acquired experience and knowledge, he opened his own ‘workshop of the words’, where he teaches his students to speak competently and persuasively.
Daria Teltevskaya: tailoring with love. Daria is an ethnic fashion designer, though she is a psychologist by education. However, her business is based on different skills. “I’m a self-taught person, I studied on the Internet, and sometimes I would undo the clothes I bought to see how they were made,” the young designer confesses. “When they saw my dresses, my friends began to ask me to make something similar for them.” Then complete strangers would meet her in the street to ask where she had bought her dress - and upon learning that she made it, they asked her to tailor clothes for them.
