Krasnodar, 25 July – Yug Times. According to the Krasnodar City Hall press service, since 2016, the city authorities have filed twenty plaints with regular courts and the regional Court of Arbitration against unlawful installation of cellular communication towers.
Deputy head of the Department of Municipal Control Artem Gubsky said that starting from 2016, the city administration has received 22 requests to check the legality of the mobile communication towers erected in different neighbourhoods. Following a series in inspections, the Department established that a number of towers had in fact been installed without permits.
“We need a systemic approach to this issue: it’s the city districts that must promptly monitor the situation in their respective territories, and transfer the information to the Department of Municipal Control,” noted Mayor Yervgeni Pervyshov. “It’s also important to promptly react to the citizens’ statements about constructions of mobile phone towers.”
