Krasnodar, 11 July – Yug Times. The new regional public organization Kuban Stroi Nadzor (Kuban Building Inspectorate) has reportedly begun its work in Krasnodar.
The main task of the structure is to render legal aid to co-owners of uncompleted blocks of flats falling under the new regional and federal laws on shared construction of high-rise blocks. Rendering aid to investors that want to understand the peculiarities of the legal basis governing the construction market will be another sphere of activity of the new agency. The new regional bill “On additional measures on protection of rights of injured co-owners of construction projects in the territory of the Krasnodar region” was adopted on April 24, 2018 by the Legislative Assembly.
“The law that was adopted in the Krasnodar region is in many respects a unique document for the region and for the country on the whole,” said Vasili Dubenko, executive of the Kuban Building Inspectorate. “Based on the opportunities given by the new law, we are proceeding to explanatory work among the co-owners [of the construction projects]. People should understand who will complete the construction of their unfinished houses, and on what legal basis. Our first-priority task is to formulate the law-enforcement practice.”
