Krasnodar, 5 July – Yug Times. Last week, Krasnodar played host to a ball of graduates of the State Institute of Culture.
For the first time, the solemn event was held in the Music Theatre. Traditionally, the first dance was a waltz. Dozens of young pairs were spinning in a dance of love and hope, a dance of wishes and huge plans that must come true.
In his welcoming speech, President of the institute Sergei Zengin said: “Today is a very special day. In a couple of minutes, 363 graduates from nine countries will get their diplomas that will let them enter the world of their future trade, the world of further education, the world of personal development.” Mr. Zengin stressed that the greatest life challenge is to be realized professionally.
The solemn ceremony began with the presentation of diplomas with honours. This year, 160 graduates received such diplomas. According to a local tradition, all ladies were presented a tender pink rose.
It was a full house in the Music Theatre, like during a popular play. The former students were greeted by their friends and relatives, and renowned Kuban artists. The school-leaving party is like a job-seeker’s interview, where everything one was taught is to be assessed.
Many graduates have already received invitations from local theatres. While being students, they had on-thejob training there - but only now the time for them comes to become real artists.
