Krasnodar, 9 June – Yug Times. The Novokubansk Dairy Factory shows much promise to become a leader of the local processing industry. Until recently, there were no dairy factories in the area – though the problem did exist: about 190 tons of milk are daily produced in Novokubansk. Now the issue has been resolved, and the new factory is to reach its planned production capacity very soon.
The dairy factory was built on the site of an old plant that went bankrupt over ten years ago. “Objectively, what was left from that plant was just the site, so that the new factory was in fact a project started from scratch,” said Nikolai Golovan, Director of the Novokubansk Dairy Factory. “We turned two years; over this time we have performed a largescale reconstruction, equivalent to a greenfield construction project.”
Currently, the factory is undergoing starting-up and adjustment. A test batch of milk has been produced. “Now our primary task is to achieve the planned capacity of up to 80 tons a day,” says Mr. Golovan.
