Krasnodar, 31 May – Yug Times. On May 26, CLAAS factory in Krasnodar celebrated its 15th birthday – traditionally, in the form of a Family Day. This time, the festivity summoned a record number of guests – over 3,000. All of them, starting from the youngest kids and up to their parents, found an activity to their liking. Dozens of amusement facilities were deployed in the factory’s campus.
Mr. Jan-Hendrik Mohr, Member of Executive Board at Claas KGAA mBH, took the floor to congratulate the audience on behalf of the big family of CLAAS.
“We have been in business in Russia for over 30 years, and in Krasnodar for 15 years,” stressed Mr. Mohr. “Over this time, we have invested 150 million euros in the factory [in Krasnodar]. Such [investment] volumes became possible only because of our having confidence in the future.”
In his speech, Kuban Governor Veniamin Kondratiev thanked Jan-Hendrik Mohr and CLAAS Krasnodar Director Ralph Bendisch for the loyalty to the chosen path and many years of fruitful cooperation.
“For the past 15 years, much has happened in foreign politics, but nonetheless CLAAS has remained faithful to its principles and strategy,” said Mr. Kondratiev. “And now it’s one of the best state-of-the-art harvesting machine-producing factories in Europe. In the [Krasnodar] region, we have a stable enterprise with a worldwide-known brand – and this is an assertive step into the future.”
