Krasnodar, 10 April – Yug Times. First Vice Governor Andrei Alekseyenko has reportedly inspected the residential complex Panorama-1 in Sochi, that suffered from a fire on April 2. He was quoted as saying that the inspection showed that the project failed to comply with fire safety rules and did not have a construction permit.
“It is obvious that the expert appraisal was false, and that the court was misled,” stated he. “It may become a ground to file a criminal case. The Mayor’s Office must inform law enforcement agencies about all violations committed by the constructors.”
Currently, the case is being investigated for the fact of “deliberately false evidence given by an expert, or a false translation.”
Meanwhile, the block is being repaired. “The constructor has undertaken to fully restore the house within two months, with strict adherence to fire safety rules and requirements, and in accordance with the project,” announced Mr. Alekseyenko.
