Krasnodar, 5 April – Yug Times. The Krasnodar region continues to develop its business infrastructure.
Last week, Kuban Governor Veniamin Kondratiev had a meeting with the President of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sergei Katyrin. During their meeting, the parties made several important announcements about the region’s investment potential. After the meeting, it was announced that the first multifunctional centre for foreign investors in Russia will open in Krasnodar this month. The presentation was attended by representatives from about two dozen countries.
“This Welcome Centre will provide a full spectrum of services foreign entrepreneurs will need to open their business or project in the region,” commented Vice Governor Vasili Shvets. He also noted that some promising projects of foreign investors may sometimes not be fulfilled due to the lack of professional personnel and language barrier, which is why it was decided to open up a centre to render all needed services in accordance with international standards.
“We guarantee high professionalism of the employees of the Welcome Centre,” stated Mr. Shvets. “Now foreign businesspeople will not have to rack their brains over where to find an English-speaking lawyer with experience in exports of cereals, or an accountant. The Centre will also consult on how to get governmental support.”
