Krasnodar, 29 March – Yug Times. It would be hard to recount all Lidia Burmistrova’s reversals of fortune in a short essay. She devoted more than fifty years of her life to educational work, and even upon retirement, she did not abandon school. Now she works as Chair of the Managing Council of Gymnasium No. 88 in Krasnodar.
Teacher Emeritus Lidia Burmistrova continues to busy herself with the upbringing of young generations, sharing her valuable experience with the younger teachers.
“I like to be a teacher, because it means that I not only give knowledge but also am engaged in the upbringing of my pupils,” confesses Lidia. “In my opinion, presently we are sadly lacking well brought up people. Many children are growing like weeds, seeing no kindness or attention - and this is one of the biggest problems of contemporary life.”
