Krasnodar, 15 February – Yug Times. Industrial production has become one of the three main segments of Krasnodar’s regional economy, in addition to the traditional agriculture and resort and spa treatment.
It is common fact that the past few years saw a leap forward in Kuban industry. Ivan Kulikov, Head of the regional Department of Industrial Policy, comments that over the past two years, more than 12 billion roubles have been invested in the region’s industrial sector.
“The advancement will go on,” asserts Mr. Kulikov. “The new Development Strategy contemplates opening of a wise industry cluster in the [Krasnodar] region by the year 2030, which means organization of industrial parks, industrial clusters and separate production facilities in priority sectors of economy.”
“The best development is expected in the municipalities that have by now acquired the necessary infrastructure and opened large productions in priority industry fields.
“We have developed and approved ‘roadmaps’ in 14 municipalities of the region. Our aim is to accelerate the speed of their industrial development and growth of industrial; output by 4% at least,” states Ivan Kulikov.
