Krasnodar, 31 October – Yug Times. The Magnit retail chain has presented its development strategy until 2020.
According to the document, the company will open three manufacturing areas — in Krasnodar, Tver and Togliatti. The retail chain will reportedly invest up to 80 billion rubles in the development of these production facilities. A half of the sum will be spent for gardening and vegetable-growing. In 2018, the company will start the construction of greenhouses for tomatoes and other hothouse plants. “We are looking forward to the possibilities of sales from our own orchards and gardens with harvest-storage infrastructure,” noted Khachatur Pombukhchan, Magnit Finance Director.
The company plans to place the main focus on the development of the industrial park in Krasnodar, which is to be put into operation by the end of 2020 joining several production facilities — from mushroom-growing, pasta and confectionery production to household chemical goods, beauty treatment and food for pets.
