Krasnodar, 31 October – Yug Times. Russian Krasnodar, German Karlsruhe and French Nancy have reportedly signed a trilateral cooperation agreement. The document was signed by Mayor Yevgeni Pervyshov, Burgomaster Frank Mentrup, and Mayor Laurent Hénart.
Thereby the municipalities agreed to expand and continue the existing cooperation by means of implementation of trilateral projects and cooperations.
“It is a unique event and unique experience,” stated Krasnodar Mayor Yevgeni Pervyshov. “And it is symbolic that we have concluded such agreement in the year of the 25th anniversary of sister relations between Krasnodar and Karlsruhe, whose sister city is also Nancy.”
In the framework of Mr. Pervyshov visit, he also signed a separate partnership agreement with Nancy. It was the first agreement of the kind the French city had concluded over the past 25 years.
The delegation from Krasnodar also visited the city of Wels, Austria, where Mr. Pervyshov held negotiations with Burgomaster Dr. Andreas Rabl about joint fairs, had a meeting with CEOs of big local companies, and visited the garbage-disposal plant. The two heads signed a memorandum of intentions and partnership between the cities. The return visit to Krasnodar is scheduled for November.
