Krasnodar, 12 October – Yug Times. On October 2, the third season of the Business School, a unique educational project performed under the aegis of the Southern Regional Committee of the European Business Association (SRC EBA), opened for the students of the Kuban State Technological University. The mission of the school is to give professional knowledge of entrepreneurship and shape up personal qualities of a future business manager. Besides, it gives its students competences needed to become sought-after specialists at the regional and national labour markets.
The first Business School had admitted all 120 applicants. To enter the second and the third seasons, the applicants had to pass a screening exam. This year there were six applicants for every seat. The applicants had to pass an English test and cope with a task in logics. Additionally, executives of major Kuban-based companies that work at the Business School as teachers interviewed their future students. As a result, 29 Technological University students and 3 members of the staff have enrolled for the course this year.
“During two semesters, you will be given a splendid opportunity to take over first-hand experience from top managers of the leading companies, business flagships of the region,” said Vice Rector Sergei Podgorny addressing the future students of the Business School. In their turn, the organizers of the Business School noted a positive effect of their project in the walls of the University.
“It has already become a good tradition to open the Business School at the University every new academic year,” said Oleg Zharko, SRC EBA Chairman, in his welcoming speech. “We are three years old, and our project has turned to be really unique and interesting, because it joins the efforts of a number of large international companies that work together with the Kuban Technological University to make a contribution to the training of highly skilled experts. We have big and fruitful work ahead of us.”
