Krasnodar, September 13 – Yug Times. The jury of the 26th Open Festival of Russian Films “Kino Shock” has announced the name of the winner of the main prize. The Golden Vine was given to the film “Carel – An Invisible Beauty” directed by Ilya Portiagin and Valentin Makarov from Yakutsk.
The list of the winners in other nominations included the following films: Birth Certificate by Yelena Tsyplakova (TV-Shock); The Best. The First-Person Narrative by Aleksandr Tsoi (best short film); Brilliants for My Ants by Karina Vilenkona (documentary films); In Autumn of 1941 by Yelena Borisova (Kino MalyShock, the nomination of children’s films).
In conclusion of the closing ceremony, the organizers of the festival thanked Anapa for hospitality and promised to gather together again during the following Kino Shock Festival.
