Krasnodar, July 20 – Yug Times. Sixty seaside beaches have reportedly been awarded categories in the Krasnodar region.
According to the regional Ministry for Resorts, Tourism and Olympic Heritage, most of the beaches that have passed the procedure of voluntary classification, are located in Anapa, Sochi and Gelendzhik, followed by the beaches of Tuapse, Temriuk and Yeisk.
Presently near 30 beaches operated under a blue flag, a sign of the highest category. Category 2 and a green flag have been awarded to nine beaches; category 3 and a yellow flag - to 20 beaches.
