Last week, Kuban Governor Veniamin Kondratiev was in Moscow with a business visit.
An important issue of his agenda was a meeting with Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov, dedicated to the further destiny of the Sedin Machine Tool Factory in Krasnodar.
Kondratiev stressed that it is necessary to keep the factory afloat, providing economic and social stability to its employees.
“We simply can’t lose this mighty enterprise,” stressed he. “Sedin must resume work, and manufacture hi-tech workstations so much required in our region and in the country on the whole.”
Mr. Kondratiev also noted that the region needs federal aid to be able to resolve the problem.
Another issue of Kuban Governor’s agenda was a presidential audience. During a solemn ceremony in the Kremlin, Mr. Putin presented him with St. Alexander Nevsky’s Order.
“A reward from President’s hands is already a high level of appraisal,” stressed Mr. Kondratiev. “On behalf of all my colleagues, I would like to state that we are implementing Presidential policy, whose main criterion is the wellbeing of each citizen of our country.”
